Our family-run business began in a humble garden shed and has flourished thanks to our dedication to quality and 
personalised service. 

At The Shed, we specialise in in-home and holiday home restaurant experiences, bringing the chef to you whether that’s a multi-course meal, tasting menu, or relaxed sharing tables with complete flexibility to create exactly what you’re looking for.

Max our head chef has significant experience in working in a range of restaurant kitchens, one of which has gained a Michelin star. Max and the team, will develop your menu with you to ensure a personalised menu and memorable experience.

OUR PLACE

THE SHED, Kelfield, York 
Is a private dining space themed with a rustic relaxed feel, full of character and the perfect place for a 
relaxed dining experience. Booking by request only, our private dining space offers limited, exclusive availability. 

We can cater for up to 16 guests for your special occasion. 

The layout works best as either a single table for 12 guests or four tables seating 4 guests each.

YOUR PLACE

We provide you and your guests with a full restaurant experience as part of our private dining service. We bring everything to you, your own private chef and waiting staff, handling the setup, cooking, service, and complete clear down, so you can simply relax and enjoy time with your guests. 

No taxis, no babysitters, no hassle, just exceptional food and service in your own home or holiday let while we bring the restaurant to you. Perfect for celebrations, or simply elevating your stay, every experience is fully bespoke and designed around you and your guests.
