Max – Executive Chef / Owner
Max is the executive chef and owner of our family run catering company, bringing years of professional experience and a passion for exceptional food.
Known for his creativity, Max showcases his culinary talent through bespoke private dining experiences, where every dish is crafted to delight and impress.
His focus on quality ingredients and refined presentation ensures each event is memorable, personal, and full of flavour.

Sam - Operations Manager / Owner
Sam is our versatile Operations Manager, playing a key role in bringing each event to life.
From coordinating large-scale functions, organising equipment to turning creative visions into reality, Sam ensures everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
A talented cook in his own right, he also supports Max in the kitchen, combining his practical skills with a calm, can-do attitude to help deliver exceptional dining experiences every time.

Clare - Front Of House Manager
Clare is our dedicated Front of House Manager and the face behind our social media, bringing years of hospitality and customer service experience to the team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, she manages enquiries, bookings and bespoke menu planning, while coordinating every detail behind the scenes both before and on the day.
With her warm, professional approach and keen eye for detail, Clare ensures every event runs seamlessly and every guest experience feels personal, considered and unforgettable.

Tom - Founder of The Shed
Tom is the original founder of The Shed Catering back in 2016, having built the idea from his own garden shed as a supper club in the village.
After establishing and growing the business, he has since stepped back from daily operations but remains an important part of the team.
Tom now supports with sourcing quality local ingredients and helps Max in the kitchen when needed — keeping true to the roots of where it all began. He also brings a sharp eye for logistics, offering guidance and suggestions drawn from his experience to support the team as the business continues to grow.

Angie - Front Of House Team
Angie has been part of the story since day one, originally supporting Tom and Max when the business first began. The business definitely wouldn't be what it is today without her.
Known for her friendly smile and welcoming nature, she’s always been a natural host who makes guests feel at home.
These days, when needed Angie works closely with Clare as a key part of the front of house team, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it's running food, lending a hand garnishing dishes or even taking care of all the linen!

Behind the scenes, we’re incredibly lucky to have the support of our wonderful friends and family who step in to help whenever needed. Whether it’s lending a hand at events, helping with deliveries, offering advice, or simply being there during busy periods, their support makes a huge difference.
They may not be involved every day, but their willingness to jump in when needed keeps everything running smoothly. We truly couldn’t do it without them — and we’re so grateful for their time, energy, and encouragement.
